The Exploratory Projects Program supports researchers making an innovative and daring contribution to the advancement and expansion of R3AI research themes. It offers support for the development of their research projects in the exploration phase, in particular through the funding of graduate students and postdoctoral researchers working on these projects. 

The Exploratory Projects Program solicits unprecedented collaborations between researchers working in sectors linked to the themes of the IVADO Regroupements. 

Projects developed in emerging themes from other fields than those of the Regroupements (for example projects in quantum physics and AI or in music and AI) are also encouraged, as long as they are linked to IVADO's mission. 

Cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary research projects are strongly encouraged.
